I'm also known as a wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend, child of the universe, and hopeful advocate for change. I feel as though I've been called upon by said universe to share my journey from mentally ill mess, to a less depressed mess, to a vessel of positivity, and beyond.
I’ve made a commitment to myself to no longer live life “half happy.” I’m really just in the beginning stages of my own personal journey of healing. I'm learning to loving myself. I'm healing my trauma. I'm recovering (Not without help of course).
Going through this process so far has been truly eye opening both to how many friends and family were facing similar struggles and to how with support and resources, things could change and there was hope. This has inspired me to help others going through similar challenges.
I started writing, posting, coaching, teaching, etc. because I want to help others to heal and to know that they aren't alone on this journey. We all struggle, some more than others, and could all benefit from more skills, support and encouragement.
I hope that through sharing my journey, I can inspire others to improve themselves and their lives. If I can help just one person to realize that they aren't alone and that things will get better, then this will have been a success for me.
